Enshitification Part Two
As I mentioned in my previous post, it seems like everything is declining in quality these days. One of the issues I mentioned was produce that is already going bad sitting on the shelf at the grocery store.
Today, I bring you an example. I would love to know who is buying mandarins in this condition.
At first I thought maybe this particular grocery store was the problem. It’s not. I’ve shopped around and seen similar things in multiple stores.
And seriously, if the ‘large’ chip bags get any smaller there will be no need for single serving bags to exist anymore.
With gas at $1.80/liter and grocery store margins getting thinner, I have a feeling this won’t be improving anytime soon.
